The Cult of Sincerity

The Cult of Sincerity’s premiered on YouTube! The whole film release is a great concept.

Cult Classics is creating a new revenue model for independent filmmakers. By partnering with the independent music website, AmieStreet.com, the film will be available to audiences free of charge, while still generating revenue for the filmmakers and providing financial support for an African charity.

The Cult of Sincerity premiered on YouTube, with tie-ins to earn the filmmakers $2 per sign-up at a music download site, where you get 2 free songs for the sign-up, and where, if you purchase a discounted $3 of credit, the filmmakers will give $2 to Fount of Mercy, a Uganda-focused charity.

Make something of your day. Go watch the film.

Oh, and our own Tom Wilkinson was the First Assistant Director on the film. I’ve written about Fount of Mercy here at glasses off before, too, and a lot of TVCers are involved. All in the family.
